Ní Chiosain, Fionnuala
Fionnuala Ní Chiosáin (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1965) studied at National College of Art and Design, Dublin and St. Martin's School of Art, London.
Solo exhibitions have included Kerlin Gallery, Dublin (2002, 1999, 1998, 1996, 1994, 1993); Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin (2002); Chicago Cultural Centre (2001); and Trial Balloon, New York (1993). Major group shows have included '12 Young Artists from Ireland', Itami City Museum of Art, Japan (1995); 'L'Imaginaire Irlandais', l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris (1996); and 'A Century of Irish Paining' which toured Japan in (1997).
Apart from The Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon her work is represented in the collections of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane; The Office of Public Works (OPW), Dublin; Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, London; AIB Bank; Goldman Sachs, London; The Irish Arts Society; The National Self Portrait Collection; and in private collections in Ireland, Europe and the USA.
