Vaughan, George

George Vaughan (b. Limerick, Ireland, 1941) studied at the Limerick School of Art, Limerick, the National College of Art, Dublin, Fischerkoesen Film Studios, Germany and the College of Music, Dublin. 

Solo shows include Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (2010); Model Sligo, with Robert Armstrong (1994); Limerick City Gallery of Art, Limerick (1993). He has participated in Boyle Arts Festival and Kilkenny Arts Festival on numerous occasions, as well as Eigse, Carlow and the Irish Exhibition of Living Art.

His work can be found in collections such as The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, Office of Public Works (OPW), Butler Gallery, Limerick City Gallery and private collections in Ireland and abroad.
