Wedge, Martin

Martin Wedge (b. Belfast, Northern Ireland, 1958) studied at the Art and Design Centre, Belfast.

Solo exhibitions of Wedge’s work include shows at Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast (2010, 2007, 2004, 2001); Hillsboro Fine Art, Dublin (2004); Vangard Gallery, Cork (2001); and Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast (1997). Wedge was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘Inside Out’ (1994) and now is among its collection.

Other collections representing Wedge’s work include the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin.
