Casson, Bronwen

Bronwen Casson (b. Ireland, 1948) was for twenty-five years a stage and costume designer at the National Theatre of Ireland and later studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology and National College of Art and Design.

Solo presentations of her work include ‘Sunrise and Moonscapes’, The Excel Gallery, Tipperary (2008); Airfield House, Dublin (2006); Lavitt Gallery, Cork (1997); and Basement Gallery, Dundalk (1995). Group Exhibitions include ‘The Nature of Inquiry’, San Pedro California, (2007 – 2008); 9th International Photography Gathering, Aleppo, Syria (2006); CSULB Gatov and Merlino Galleries, Long Beach; and Advocate Gallery L.A. California (both 2006).

Casson is included in the public collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
