Davies, Anthony

Anthony Davies (b. Hampshire, England, 1947) studied art at the Winchester School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London.

Solo exhibitions of his work have taken place internationally, including Gilberd Marriot Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand (2012); Project Arts Centre, Dublin (1994), Hendriks Gallery, Dublin (1987) and Winchester School of Art Gallery, UK (1975). Davies was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘Inside Out’ (1993).

His work is represented in the collection of Ulster Museum, Belfast; British Council and The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, among numerous others.
