Tomas de Paor has practised as an architect since 1991.
He has lectured widely abroad and has served as a visiting critic in various universities internationally. His work has won both national and international awards. To date, two books are published in relation to his work. He designed the inaugural Irish Pavilion for the 2000 Venice Architecture Biennale and has represented Ireland in group shows of 2006 and 2008. In 2010 he will present 4am at the invitation of Kazuo Seijima in the Palazzo delleEsposizioni in the Giardini of Venice.
De Paor was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘A Room of One’s Own’ (2000).
