Biography

Vivienne Roche (b. Cork, Ireland, 1953) studied at Crawford School of Art, Cork and School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Selected solo exhibitions include Christchurch, Cork (2011); Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris (2010); Vangard Gallery, Cork (2005); Model, Sligo (2003); and Rubicon Gallery, Dublin (2000). Group shows include ‘What happens next is a secret’, Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin (2010); ‘Then and Now’, Glucksman Gallery, Cork (2009); and ‘C2’, Crawford Gallery, Cork (2005). Roche was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘Heads’ (1988).
