Tansey, Francis

Francis Tansey (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1959) studied at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

Exhibitions include Gormleys Fine Art (2012); The Bad Art Gallery, Dublin (2009); and Grosvenor Room Gallery, Armband Hotel, Dublin (1999). Group shows include Gormley Gallery Belfast (2010); Ulster Museum, Belfast (1992); Aer Rianta Exhibitions, Dublin Airport, Dublin (1989, 1992, and 1997); ROSC International Exhibition, Dublin (1988); and IMMA, Dublin (1987).

The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon holds his work in their collection, other collections include National Concert Hall; Ulster Museum; Dublin Writers Museum; Contemporary Irish Arts Society; among others.
