McLoughlin, Deirdre

Deirdre McLoughlin (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1949) studied at Trinity College Dublin.

Solo exhibitions include National Craft Gallery, Kilkenny (2012); Stadsschouwburg, Utrecht (2009); Peppercanister Gallery, Dublin (2008, 2003, 1999); Galerie Maas, Rotterdam (1996); and Ulster Museum, Belfast, travelled to Limerick City Gallery of Art and the Green On Red Gallery, Dublin (1993). Group shows include VAN/VOOR CBK Amsterdam, curator Yolanda Rustenhoven (2011); VII Ceramic Congress, AfyonKocatepe University, Turkey (2008); 4th World Ceramic Biennale, Korea (2007); and regular participation in RHA, Dublin Annual Exhibition.

Apart from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s collection, her work is included in the collections of Icheon World Ceramic Center, Korea; National Museum of Ireland, Dublin; Ulster Museum, Belfast; Frank Steyaert Museum, Gent; Limerick City Gallery of Art, Limerick; Office of Public Works (OPW), Dublin.
