Jones, Peter

Peter Jones (b. England, 1957) studied at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, United States and National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

Solo shows include Green on Red Gallery, Dublin (1999); and Grafton Gallery, Dublin (1987). He has represented Ireland in several major group exhibitions including; the APADEC (International Art Critics Association) Programme in Evora, Portugal (1988); the Irish Printmaking Group Exhibition, Helsinki and touring Finland (1987 - 1988); and the Premio Internazionale, Biolla, Italy, International Exhibition of Printmaking (1989). Jones was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘Altered States’ (1995).

His work is included in the collections of the Office of Public Works (OPW) as well as the The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
