Minihan, John

John Minihan (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1946) studied at London School of Printing and Graphic Arts.

Minihan's many solo exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world include theUniversity of York (2011); Victoria Art Gallery, Bath, England (2006); a retrospective at National Photographic Archive, Dublin (2000); the National Portrait Gallery, London (1987-1988); Centre George Pompidou, Paris (1986); Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro (1984).  He was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘A Special Place’ (1988).
