McHugh, Ruth

Ruth McHugh (b. Galway, Ireland) studied at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

Exhibitions include a two person show with Lisa Sweeney at Norman Villa Gallery, Galway (2011); and solo shows at Peppercanister Gallery, Dublin (2005); Galway Arts Centre, Galway (2001); Spanish Parade Gallery, Galway (1997); and Nun's Island Art Centre, Galway (1990). She has shown on numerous occasions at RHA Annual exhibitions, Dublin. Other group shows include Peppercanister Gallery, Dublin (2011) and Gilvarry Geoghan Gallery, Galway (1990).

McHugh’s work is included in the collection of the The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, among others.
