Wilson, Alistair
Alistair Wilson (b. Penarth, Wales, 1951) studied at Preston Polytechnic, and Bath Academy, and Chelsea School of Art. Among others, Wilson represented Northern Ireland at the 51st Venice Biennale, an exhibition which was later shown at Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast (2005).
Solo exhibitions of Wilson’s work include The Third Space Gallery, Belfast (2010); Context Gallery, Derry (1997); and Orchard Gallery, Derry (1980).
His work is held in many private and public collections including the Ulster Museum and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. His work is also among the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
