Moore, John

John Moore (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1962) studied at the College of Marketing and Design and graduating with an advanced Diploma in Art and Design in 1986. He is a founding member of the renowned Temple Bar Gallery & Studios in Dublin, where he still keeps a studio. 

Solo exhibitions include Art in Heaven, Roundstone, Galway (1999); Model Art Centre, Sligo (1997); Anya Von Goesslyn Gallery, Dublin (1996); Green on Red Gallery, Dublin (1994). Group exhibitions have included ‘Iontas Award Winners’ at Model Sligo, Draiocht, Blanchardstown Arts Centre and Limerick City Gallery (2002); Berkeley Gallery, Kilkenny (2001); and Santa Monica Studios, California (2001).

Moore is among the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon. Other collections include Government Buildings, Dublin; The Office of Public Works (OPW), Dublin; The Department of An Taoiseach; The Crawford Permanent Collection, Cork; The Independent Radio and Television Commission, Dublin; and The Contemporary Irish Art Society.
