Geoghegan, Trevor
Trevor Geoghegan (b. London, UK, 1946) studied at Worthing College of Art, Sussex and Chelsea School of Art, London. He settled in Ireland and moved to Blessington, Co. Wicklow in 1971.
Selected solo shows include Jorgensen Gallery, Dublin (2011); Barbara Stanley Gallery, London (2009); AIC Gallery, New York, USA (2000) and Solomon Gallery, Dublin (1987- 2009). Group shows include Kenny Gallery, Galway (1984-1994); Solomon Gallery, Dublin (1983-2007); RHA Annual Exhibitions (2003-2010); and The Walton Gallery, London (2001-2002). Geoghan was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the first in a series of touring school shows entitled ‘The School Show’ (1986).
Selected collections including his work include Aras an Uachtarain; National Self Portrait Collection; Irish Contemporary Arts Society; and Office of Public Works (OPW).
