Nolan, Evin

Biography
Evin Nolan (b. 1930, d. 2016) was an active member in the establishment of the Project Arts Centre, first exhibited at the RHA in 1956. Nolan received several major public commissions including, University College Galway (commissioned by Scott Tallon Walker architects) Loughshore Park, County Antrim and Castlebar Fire Station Headquarters, County Mayo. Solo exhibitions of his work included ‘Works 1984 to 1999’ at the RHA Gallery, Dublin (1999); Grafton Gallery (1985); and Dublin Painters Gallery, Dublin (1963). He exhibited as part of RHA Annual Exhibitions, Oireachtas, SADE and Irish Exhibition of Living Art on numerous occasions. Apart from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, his work can be found in the collections of University College Dublin and Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin.

He exhibited as part of RHA Annual Exhibitions, Oireachtas, SADE and Irish Exhibition of Living Art on numerous occasions.

Apart from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, his work can be found in the collections of University College Dublin and Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin among many other public and private collections
