O'Nolan, James
James O’Nolan (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1952) studied English at University College, Dublin and National College of Art and Design in Dublin. He is former director of Graphic Studio Dublin and now directs Stoney Road Press.
Exhibitions include a two-person show with Valerie Hannon at Graphic Studio Gallery (1994); and group exhibitions at Lavit Gallery, Cork (1999, 1998); Green on Red Gallery, Dublin (1999, 1998); Dun Laoghaire Town Hall (1995); and The Original Print Fair, The Royal Academy London (1995).
He was commissioned to produce work for ‘Altered States’ (1995) an Arts Council travelling school exhibition and this work is now included in the public collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon. O'Nolan's work appears in many other collections including Algemene Banke Nederlande, the Board of Public Works Department of Finance and Dublin City University.
