Van der Grijn, Eric

Erik Van Der Grijn (b. The Netherlands, 1941) studied at Royal College of Art, The Netherlands and moved to Ireland in 1964.

Solo exhibitions have included Galeria Laura Haber (2013); Museo Caraffa de Córdoba, (2010); Galería Laura Haber, Buenos Aires (2008); JoCo Gallery, Soho, New York (2004); David Hendriks Gallery, Dublin (1985, 1983, 1981, 1979, 1976, 1974). He exhibited his paintings regularly with the Irish Exhibition of Living Art, Oireachtas and Independent Artists.

His work is represented in numerous prestigious public collections including Aemstelle, Gemeente Museum, Arts Council of Northern Ireland; Contemporary Irish Art Society, Ireland; Ulster Museum, Belfast; Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane; Irish Museum of Modern Art among others.
