Brandt, Ruth

Ruth Brandt (b. 1936, and d. 1989) studied at Florence School of Art, Italy and National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

She exhibited widely and presented solo shows at Lincoln Gallery, Dublin (1982); Setanta Gallery, Dublin (1978); and the Arts Club, Dublin (1975). She joined the Independent Artists group and the Graphic Studio Dublin in 1976 and exhibited as part of group shows with each, as well as being presented at the RHA and Irish Exhibition of Living Art.

Her work is represented in the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon among others.
