O'Malley, Tony

Tony O'Malley b. 1913 Kilkenny, Ireland and d. 2003, was a self-taught painter.

He exhibited regularly with Taylor Galleries, Dublin where a retrospective of his works on paper was held in 2002. He also held solo shows at the Castlefield Gallery, Manchester (1988); Wolf at the Door Gallery, Penzance (1988); West Cork Arts Centre (1991); Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (1992); and Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork (1994).

His work is included in the collections of AIB (Allied Irish Banks), Arts Council of Ireland, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Museum, Belfast among others.
