Bardon, Jean

Jean Bardon (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1952) studied at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Solo exhibitions of her work include Galleri Astley, Uttersberg, Sweden (2010); Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin, (2010, 2008, 2001, 1995); and The Watchouse, Enniscorthy (1995).

Selected group exhibitions include Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition (2010, 2011); Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition (1993 – 2011); Watercolour Society of Ireland Annual Exhibition (2006 – 2011); and Ile d'Hiver, Leuven Institute, Belgium (2009).

Apart from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s collection, Bardon’s work is represented in the collections of the National Gallery of Ireland; the Office of Public Works (OPW); the Arts Council of Sweden; the Royal Opera House Stockholm; the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin; the University of Limerick, among others.
