Magner, Tony

Tony Magner studied at Galway Mayo Institute of Technology; Galway; University of Ulster, Belfast; and The National Academy of Fine Art, China.

Selected exhibitions include two-person shows with Josephine Spak at Gallerie 31, Reuterstr, Berlin (2006); and again at FINALTASTE,.Vienna (2005); group ‘Death and Desire’, Sirrius gallery, Cobh (2007); solo show at Galerie SOX 36, Berlin (2003). Group shows have included the Festival Periphery Vision, Tabor, Czech Republic (2004); ‘34 x Kunst’, INGAN, 33 rooms, Berlin (2004); O Artoteca, Milan (2004); and Backwater Studios, Cork (2001).

Magner has works in public and private collections in Ireland and Europe namely the The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, L’Embarcadère, Lyon and MA7, StadtKulture Wien, Vienna.
