Marie Brett & Kevin O'Shanahan
Marie Brett is a visual artist working in digital, sculptural and more recently live
events. She collaborates amid peoples’ lived-life experience of trauma and social
(in)justice re-positioning what’s socially hidden or culturally shunned. Recent work
includes an international global justice commission touring to the European
Parliament. Marie’s a graduate of Goldsmiths, London University (MA / BA) and
has writing published in Ireland, the UK and Finland.
Kevin O’ Shanahan is a musician with over 25 years experience working on a wide
variety of participatory based arts and health projects. His practice is influenced
in particular by the discipline of ethnomusicology. Diversity is also a feature of
Kevin's eclectic practice to date. This has included roles as musician/ composer,
researcher/writer, guest lecturer/public speaker and events curator /project
manager.
