Gerrard, John

John Gerrard b. Dublin, Ireland, 1974, was educated at The Ruskin School of Fine Art and Drawing, Oxford University, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Trinity College Dublin.

Selected One Person Exhibitions include ‘Exercise (Djibouti) 2012' , Modern Art Oxford (2012); mima, Middlesbourgh Institute of Art, UK (2012); and ‘Infinite Freedom Exercise', Manchester International Festival, Manchester (2011). Group exhibitions include ‘The Pursuit of Perfection’, South London Gallery, London (2012); ‘More Real’, Site Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA (2012); and ‘Visions Fugitives’, Le Fresnoy, France (2012).

His work is in a number of public and private collections including the Arts Council of Ireland’s collection.
