Burke, Karl

Karl Burke (b. Sligo, Ireland, 1974) graduated with a Diploma in fine art followed by a degree in interactive multi media from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.

Karl has shown widely in Ireland and abroad with solo shows at Rua Red, South Dublin Arts Centre, Limerick City Gallery of Art; The Joinery, Dublin (all 2010); The Niland gallery in Sligo (2009); and Wexford Arts Centre (2008). Burke was commissioned to respond to The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s exhibition ‘Into The Light’ in Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane (2011). Other group shows include Galway Arts Centre, Galway (2011).
