Jones, Jesse
Jesse Jones (b.1978) studied at IADT. She represented Ireland at Venice Biennale in 2017 and that exhibition toured to Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Singapore at LASALLE College of the Arts, Project Arts Centre Dublin, and Talbot Rice Gallery Edinburgh. Other exhibitions include The Hugh Lane Dublin, Kunsthalle Wien Vienna and the Istanbul Biennial
Jesse Jones (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1978) studied at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design, and Technology in Dublin.
Solo shows include Artsonje centre, Seoul and CCA, Derry (2013); Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane (2012); Project Arts Centre, Dublin (2008); ‘12 Angry Films’, Pidgeon House, Dublin (2006); and a two-person show at Pallas Heights, Dublin (2005). She has shown internationally in group shows at the 9th Instanbul Bienniale; Ubersong, Plan 9, Bristol (2009); and ‘Nought to Sixty’, ICA, London (2008).
Her work is included in the collection of the The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon among others.
