Gemma Browne b. London, UK, 1966, studied at Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork and Birmingham Institute of Art & Design, UK.

Solo exhibitions include ‘Forever Girls and Boys’, Kevin Kavanagh, Dublin (2012); ‘Being Pretty is Everything’, Draíocht, Centre for the Arts, Dublin (2002) and ‘Pofferd-De Nul’, Artists Collective, Antwerp, Belgium (2000). Her work was included in ‘Collecting For Ireland, Works from the Arts Council Collection’, The Hunt Museum, Limerick (2011); ‘Passing Through’, Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork (2005); and ‘Crawford Open 3’, Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork (2002).

Browne’s work is included in the collections of The University of Central England Birmingham, UK and the Office of Public Works (OPW) among others.
