Phelan, Garrett

Garrett Phelan (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1965).

He has held solo shows at Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, Ireland (2012); SMART, (Curated by Hilde de Bruijn) Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2010); Context Gallery, Derry (2010); mother’s tankstation, Dublin (2009, 2006); Paradise Row, London (2009); and Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art Sound Space, Middlesbrough (2008). Phelan participated in group shows at ICA, London (2012); ‘Twenty’ at Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin (2011); Project Arts Centre, Dublin (2007); and Manifesta 5, San Sebastian, Spain (2004).

His work is included in the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, among many others.
