Jordan, Eithne

Biography

Eithne Jordan (b. Dublin, Ireland) studied at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dublin and Hochschule der Künste, Berlin.

 

Solo exhibitions include ‘Small Worlds’, The Mac, Belfast (2012); RHA Gallery, Dublin (2012); ‘Street Stills’, Assab One, Milan (2011); and Rubicon Gallery, Dublin (2010, 2007, 2004, 2002, 2000). Selected group shows include Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork (2012); Temple Bar Gallery and Studios, Dublin (2012); Kinsale Arts Week, Kinsale (2011); and regular participation in RHA Annual Exhibition. Jordan was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the first in a series of touring school shows entitled ‘The School Show’ (1986) and later ‘Inside Out’ (1993).

 

Apart from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s collection, Jordan’s work can be found in the collections of The Irish Museum of Modern Art; McMullen Museum Of Modern Art, Boston; Sligo Municipal Art Collection; Contemporary Irish Arts Society; St. Luke's Hospital, Dublin; Dublin City Libraries; among others.
