Hickey, Patrick

Patrick Hickey (b. India 1927 and d. 1998) studied architecture at University College Dublin and later studied etching and lithography at the Scuola del Libro in Urbino.

A retrospective of his work was held at Dalkey Arts Centre in 2007. Graphic Studio Gallery held a solo exhibition of his work in 2000, as did Taylor Galleries in 1997. He was included in several group shows such as the Irish Exhibition of Living Art and International Biennales including Paris, Cracow and San Paolo.

His work can be found in the collections of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon; AIB (Allied Irish Banks); Crawford Municipal Gallery, Cork; Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane; Limerick City Gallery of Art and National Self Portrait Collection, University of Limerick.
