Biography

 

Tom Molloy (b. Waterford, Ireland, 1964) studied at National College of Art and Design, Dublin and Winchester School of Art, England.

 

Solo exhibitions of Molloy’s work include Lora Reynolds Gallery, Texas (2012, 2011, 2009, 2007); Rubicon Gallery, Dublin (2011, 2010, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1999, 1997, 1996, 1994, 1992); Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise, (2010); Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, Connecticut, USA (2010); Solstice Arts Centre, Navan, Ireland (2008); and Limerick City Gallery of Art (2005). Most recent group shows include ‘Lines of Control’, Herbert F Johnson Museum (2012); Cornell University, New York (2012); ‘The Jerusalem Show’, The Khalid Shoman Foundation, Darat al Funun, Jordan (2011); ‘Art2’, Flag Art Foundation, New York, (2011); and ‘Death & Sensuality’, Mina Dresden Gallery, San Francisco, (2011).
