Graham, Patrick
Patrick Graham b. Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland, 1943, studied at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.
During 2012 Meridian Gallery, San Francisco, held a retrospective exhibition of Graham’s work titled ‘Becomes the Painting’, which later moved to Katzen Museum of Art at American University, Washington and the Museum of Contemporary Religious Art at Saint Louis University. Jack Rutberg Fine Arts in Los Angeles held a major retrospective in 2002. In 2010 in West Cork Arts Centre there was a two man show of work by Graham and John Philip Murray. Solo exhibitions include Jack Rutberg Fine Arts, Los Angeles (2010); Vanguard Gallery, Belfast (2007); Hillsboro Fine Art, Dublin (2005); Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin (2002, 1994); Green on Red Gallery, Dublin (2000, 1996); Fresno Art Museum, California (1998); Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork (1994); Lincoln Gallery, Dublin (1984, 1983, 1982, 1981); and Emmet Gallery, Dublin (1976, 1974).
Graham’s work is represented in the public collections of Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane and Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin among others.
