O'hEocha, Mairead
Mairead O’hEocha (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1962) studied at National College of Art and Design, Dublin and Goldsmith’s College, University of London.
O’hEocha's solo exhibitions include mother’s tankstation, Dublin (2012, 2008); Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin (2011); Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (2011); and Angles Gallery, LA (2008). Her most recent group shows include ‘Up the Walls’, The Model, Sligo, (2012); Dublin Contemporary 2011; ‘Interlude (Aspects of Irish landscape painting)’ Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin (2011); ‘A Loaf of Bread, A Carton of Milk and a Stick of Butter’ Hudson Franklin Gallery, New York (2008); and ‘Visual Fictions’, Fenton Gallery, Cork.
O’hEocha is included in various public and private collections in New York, California, Brussels and The Netherlands as well as The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s collection.
