Garry, Mark

Mark Garry b. Mullingar, Ireland, 1972, studied at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.

Garry was amongst the artists representing Ireland at the 2005 Venice Biennale. Recent selected exhibitions include a group show ’All Humans Do’, White Box, New York and  The Model Niland, Sligo (2012); a two person show with Isabel Nolan at the Stephen Freidman Gallery, London (2011); a solo show at University of Ulster gallery, Belfast (2011); group show ‘Brittleness’, Maria Stenfors, London (2011); group show “Phoenix” at the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris, (2011) and a solo show at Kerlin Gallery, Dublin, 2010.

His work is in a number of public and private collections including the Arts Council of Ireland’s collection.
