O'Malley, Niamh

Niamh O’Malley (b. Co. Mayo, Ireland, 1975) studied at University of Ulster, Belfast.

O’Malley’s recent solo shows include exhibitions at Hå Gamle Prestegard, Norway (2012); Green On Red Gallery, Dublin (2011, 2009, 2006, 2004); Gaain Gallery, Seoul, Korea (2010); Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris (2010); Centro Cultural Monthermoso Kulturune, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain (2010); VOID, Derry, Northern Ireland (2009); Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Dublin (2008); and Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane, Dublin (2007). Recent group shows O’Malley participated in include eva international, Limerick City, Ireland (2012); ‘All Humans Do’ White Box, New York and The Model, Sligo (2012); Dublin Contemporary 2011; and ‘Twenty’ Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin 2011.

Her work is included in the collections of the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin; Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane and The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
