Gorey, Helena

Helena Gorey (b. Kilkenny, Ireland, 1961) studied at Limerick School of Art and Design and Academia di Belle Art, Perugia, Italy.

Gorey has held solo shows at the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (2013); Ucheldre Centre, Holyhead (2006); The Dock, Leitrim (2006); Kilkenny Arts Festival, Kilkenny (2005); Sligo Art Gallery, Sligo (2004); Mermaid Arts Centre, Wicklow (2004); and Limerick City Gallery of Art (2003). She has participated in Claremorris Open Exhibition (2004); eva International, Limerick (1987) and SADE ’82.

Her work is included in the collections of the The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Office of Public Works (OPW).
