Biography

Eithne Carr (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1946 and d. 2014) studied in the National College of Art and Design, Dublin and was a member of the RHA.

Solo exhibitions of her work include Ashford Gallery, Dublin (2003); Hallward Gallery (1999, 1995); and Tom Caldwell Gallery, Belfast (1991). She has regularly participated in the major group exhibitions, Oireachtas, Irish Exhibition of Living Art, Iontas and RHA Annual exhibitions.

Her work is in private collections in Ireland, England and U.S.A and many public collections in Ireland including The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Office of Public Works (OPW).
