Clare, Mark

Mark Clare (b. London, Engalnd, 1968) graduated from St. Martins College of Art & Design, London with a BA (Hons) Fine Art Sculpture before completing a MA in Fine Art at the University of Ulster. Now lives and works in Dublin, Ireland.

Solo exhibitions of Clare’s work include DreamHouse LaGrange Art Museum, Georgia USA (2011); The Red House, Syracuse, New York, USA (2010); Galway Arts Centre (2010); The LAB, Dublin Ireland (2009); RHA, Dublin (2007). Clare was commissioned to respond to The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s exhibition ‘Into the Light’ (2011) at the Crawford Gallery, Cork. Other group shows include Rubicon Gallery, Dublin (2012); Dublin Contemporary 2011; and Eurojet Futures ’01.

Clare’s work is now in the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
