Mosse, Richard
Richard Mosse (b. 1980, Kilkenny, Ireland) studied at Yale School of Art, New York; Goldsmiths, London; London Consortium (Tate, ICA, Architectural Association, Birkbeck); and Kings College, London. Mosse represented Ireland at the 55th Venice Art Biennale (2013).
Solo exhibitions include Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (2014); Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin (2014); Galeria Leyendecker, Tenerife (2012); Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris (2012); and Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2012). Group shows include ‘Changing States: Contemporary Irish Art & the Francis Bacon Studio’, curated by Christine Kennedy and Michael Dempsey, BOZAR Center for Fine Arts, Brussels (2013); PPAC, Philadelphia (2013);Brant Gallery, Massart (2012); and Spectral Landscapes, with John Baldessari, curated by John Neff and Pamela Fraser, University of Chicago’s Gallery 400.
Mosse is among the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
