Egan, Aleana

Aleana Egan (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1979) studied at Glasgow School of Art.

Solo exhibitions of her work include Kerlin Gallery, Dublin (2013); The Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin (2012); Mary Mary, Glasgow (2011, 2008, 2006, 2005); Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Dublin (2009); Kunsthalle Basel, Switzerland (2008); and Assembly Gallery , Glasgow  (2003, 2002). Selected group exhibitions include ‘Drawing: Sculpture’, Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds (2012); ‘All humans do’, White Box, New York (2012); Sculpture Center, New York (2010); Konrad Fischer Galerie, Dusseldorf (2009); and the 5th Berlin Biennale, Berlin (2008).

Her work is included in the public collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, among others.
