Biography

Anne Tallentire (b. Co Armagh, Northern Ireland, 1949) has lived and worked in London since 1984, where she studied at the Slade School of Art. Tallentire represented Ireland at the Venice Biennale in 1999.

Solo shows include Hollybush Gardens Gallery, London (2012); Picture This, Bristol (2011); a survey exhibition of her key works from 1999 to 2000 ‘This, and other things’; Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (2010); Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin, (2007); Void Gallery, Derry (2005) and Galerie im Taxipalais, Innsbruck, Austria (2005). Since 1993, Tallentire has also worked on many collaborative projects with John Seth; two-person exhibitions include South London Gallery, London, (2002) and Orchard Gallery, Belfast (2000). Group shows include; and Technisches Museum Wien, Vienna (2012) and RHA annual shows on numerous occasions

Anne Tallentire (b.1949) studied at the Slade School of Art. In 1999 she represented Ireland at the Venice Biennale and has exhibited widely internationally including at Irish Museum of Modern Art, TATE Liverpool and Dallas Museum of Art.  She is a member of Aosdána
