Gannon, Laura

Laura Gannon b. Galway, Ireland, 1972, studied at Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts Cergy Pontoise, Paris, University of Ulster, Belfast and Goldsmiths College, London.

Recent solo exhibitions include Whitechapel Projects, London (2007), ‘Wordsong’ at Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane (2003) and ‘Underswim’ Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Dublin (2000). Selected Group exhibitions include Bischoff Weiss Gallery, London (2006) and ‘Onufri 2003’ at the National Gallery of Albania, Tirana (2003).

Her work is represented in the collection of the Office of Public Works, Dublin as well as the Arts Council of Ireland.
