Biography

Martin Folan (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1955 d. 2014) studied at National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

 

He has exhibited in the Independent Artists and Exhibition of Living Art shows and has had one-man shows at the Belltable Arts Centre, Limerick (1991); Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Dublin (1989); and Project Arts Centre, Dublin (1984). He participated in the Clairemorris Open Exhibition (1990) and City Art Reach at the City Arts Centre, Dublin (1995).

 

Folan was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the first in a series of touring school shows entitled ‘The School Show’ (1986).
