Mccarthy, Danny

Danny McCarthy studied at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.

Solo exhibitions include Crawford Gallery Cork (2004); Trace Gallery, Cardiff (2004); Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh (2001); Triskel Arts Centre, Cork (1999); and Crawford Municipal Gallery, Cork (1994). Group exhibitions include Takt Gallery, Berlin (2006); and Trace Retrospective 2000-05, Franklin Furnace, New York (2004). He is a founding director of Triskel Arts Centre, Cork, and of the National Sculpture Factory and is a director of Art Trail and the Sirius Arts Centre Cobh.

Apart from the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon his work can be found in the collections of Crawford Municipal Gallery, Cork and City Gallery, Limerick.
