Weir, Grace

Grace Weir (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1962) studied at National College of Art and Design, Dublin and Trinity College, Dublin. Weir represented Ireland at the 49th International Venice Biennale, Venice (2001).

Solo exhibitions include ‘Déjà vu’, The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon (2010); Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane (2009); The Science Museum, London (2007); and Furini Arte Contemporanea, Arezzo Italy (2007). Group exhibitions include RHA Gallagher Gallery, Dublin (2011); Kunstverein Ludwigsburg, Germany (2011); Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (2010); and Gracelands, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim (2011, 2009, 2008). Weir was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘Tokens’ (1993).

Her work is represented in the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
