Walsh, Louise

Louise Walsh (b. Cork, Ireland, 1963) studied at University of Ulster, Belfast and Crawford Municipal School of Art, Cork.

Solo exhibitions include Belltable Arts Centre, Limerick (1997); Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin with Pauline Cummins (1995); ‘Sounding the Depths’ (again with Pauline Cummins), Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, which went on to Kunstlerhaus, Graz, Austria; Tate Gallery, Liverpool; and Street Level Photographic Gallery, Glasgow. Walsh has participated in community art projects such as Per cent for Art and Viking Tribe After Schools Project Buckingham Street, Dublin. She was commissioned by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon to produce work for the touring school show ‘Inside Out’ (1993).
