O'Sullivan, Patrick

Patrick O’Sullivan (b. London, England, 1940) studied at the Carlisle College of Art and Royal Academy Schools in London. He has lived in Co. Cork since 1971.

His solo exhibitions in Ireland, frequently featuring his work in marble, wood and bronze, include the Taylor Galleries, Dublin and Cork. He exhibited at Cork Arts Society, Cork with Pauline Bewick (1984). other solo exhibitions include Oliver Dowling Gallery, Dublin (1978); and County Gallery, Lewes, Sussex (1964). Group shows that O’Sullivan has participated in include ‘Irish Artists selected by John Behan’ at Lavit Gallery, Cork (1995); Art Hive, Cork (1994); and ‘Cork Art Now’, Crawford Art Gallery, Cork (1985).

His work is part of the collection of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
