Walsh, Niall

Niall Walsh (b. Dublin, Ireland, 1963) studied at Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire and Sligo IT.

Exhibitions include a two-person show with Cathal Curtin at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre, Leitrim (2010); solo shows at The Dock Carrick-on-Shannon (2007); Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen, Northern Ireland (2006); Model Arts & Niland Gallery, Sligo, Ireland (2004); de las Esculptures, Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico (2003); and Kauno Galerija, Kaunas, Lithuania (1999). Walsh has participated in group shows at Clinton Gallery Enniskillen (2011); Leitrim Sculpture Centre (2011); Boyle Arts Week (2010); The Blue Wall Gallery (2010) and The Lab, Dublin (2009).

Walsh is represented in many public collections among them: The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon; The U.K. National trust; Lalit Kala Academy, India; Dublin City University; Artists Museum Centre, Lodz, Poland; and Jardin de las Esculptures, Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.
