Delargy, Diarmuid
Diarmuid Delargy (b. Belfast, Northern Ireland, 1958) studied at the Slade School of Art in London.
Solo exhibitions of his work include The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon (2008); Belfast Print Workshop (2007); ‘The Beckett Suite’ at Galway Arts Centre, Galway; Irish Arts Centre, New York; Fendereskey Gallery at Queen’s, Belfast; Portora Royal School (all 2006), Enniskillen and Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin (2005). Group shows have included Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin (2007); Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast (2007); Taylor Galleries, Dublin (2007); Bankside Gallery, London (2006); and regular inclusion in the RHA Annual exhibitions.
Collections representing his work include Arts Council of England; Hayward Collection; Arts Council of Northern Ireland; Trinity College, Dublin; The National Self-Portrait Collection, Limerick; University College London, Slade School of Fine Art; Museum of Fine Art, Zacatecas, Mexico; Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; Queen’s University Collection, Belfast among others.
