Biography

Jane O'Malley (b. Montreal, Canada, 1944 ),

She has held solo exhibitions of her work at Norman Villa Gallery, Galway (2012); Taylor Galleries, Dublin (most recently 2009 and regularly since 1991); Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin (1998); Riverrun Gallery, Limerick (1990); and Montpelier Studio, London (1989). Group exhibitions include ‘Women Artists’  Catherine Hammond Gallery, Cork (2012); ‘Graphic Studio 50 Years in Dublin’ Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin (2010); Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (2008, 2003); a two person show with Breon O’Casey at Yew Tree Gallery, Cornwall (2006); and RHA Annual exhibitions on numerous occasions.

Her work is held in The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon’s Collection among others including, Cuxhaven, Germany (Municipal Council); Office of Public Works (OPW); and Dublin City University.
